Merrill Historical Museum, Merrill - The museum is housed in the 19th Century home of Thomas B. Scott, a timber baron and Merrill's first mayor. Permanent exhibits include a Victorian era parlor and bedroom. Also showcased is the Pinery, a gallery featuring a blacksmith shop, a logging exhibit, pioneer rolls. The largest gathering of motorcyclists takes place in Tomahawk. The Fall Ride participants number about 20,000, most of them Harley owners.

Tomahawk Historic Museums, Tomahawk - Enjoy a glimpse of the past at the Tomahawk Historic Museums, housed in two landmarked buildings, one of them Tomahawk's first school. Military memorabilia, logging tools and artifacts, paper industry and local airport exhibits. Open mid-June to late August, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. 18 & 19 E.
